ARC HOST PTY LTD (ABN 11 664 411 689), trading as ARC POS, is committed to providing quality point of sale software and retail management solutions. This policy outlines your rights regarding refunds and cancellations.

2. Australian Consumer Law

Our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to:

  • A refund or replacement for a major failure
  • Compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage
  • Repair or replacement if goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure

3. Subscription Services

For subscription-based services:

  • You may cancel at any time with no lock-in contract
  • Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period
  • No refunds for partial billing periods unless required by law
  • 14-day cooling-off period for new subscriptions

4. Physical Products

For physical goods:

  • Change of Mind: 14 days from delivery, product must be unopened and in original condition. A 15% restocking fee may apply.
  • Faulty Products: Full refund or replacement at no cost. We cover return shipping.
  • Warranty Claims: Handled per manufacturer warranty terms.

5. Digital Services & Professional Services

  • Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing before service commencement
  • Work already completed will be charged at agreed rates
  • Major service failures: full refund
  • Non-major failures: service will be re-supplied at no additional cost

6. How to Request a Refund

  4. Approved refunds are processed within 7 business days

7. Refund Method

Refunds will be issued to the original payment method. Credit card refunds may take 5-10 business days to appear on your statement.
